I'm a 16 years old male from Turkey.I read and watch about USA alot . and one day in the future I want to live in Los Angeles . But my friends call me a traitor :shock: they say i dont love my country and lovin an another country is so unusual. what should i do and what do u think . . madaka

There are Turkish people in my workplace here in Australia. They are nice people and they seem to enjoy living here. I don't see the problem.

I had to do the same thing as well. Im from Brazil and here there is a huge Anti-U.S wave around here. There are some people who hate everything that is American for the simple fact it is from America. They also dont understand how can I respect them, even if I dont agree with the U.S govermment acts at all..... I know there is a big difference betwen the two

Besides, some of the wisest people I have ever meet were Americans, so I learned from my own experience

Just be glad that you dont own a weak mediocre mind, and you can think and decide for yourself :)

Yes, tell us why you want to live in the US so badly and only than can we decide whether your friends were speaking the truth or not. But you made your friends sound like mindless nationalists who will attack any country that isn't their own. It's not really a good thing to say about your friends, unless you made it sound worse than what they actually said.
