Do people in different timezones celebrate the new year at the same time?

This confuses me... if it's 12:00am in one place, but 11:00pm in another place, would they still celebrate the new year at the same time? Because it would be kinda messy if everyone celebrated it at a different time. :P

Japan celebrated 13 hours ago. So according to whatever time zone they have, they always celebrate New Years on whenever it is 12:00 in their time zone

Yes they do celebrate it according to their own time zones. How old are you?

because it a brand to new year and it only comes once a year and people are happy to be alive to see it. R.I.P. those that didn't live to see it.

Conference call man. We all get on the line.

Really, It's only 11:41 here, it's still 2009, did I blow your mind?
