Do random people ask you for money?

I remember a weird guy coming up to me at the bus station once. He asked me for money, which I had, but I couldn't afford to just give it away. He might have been drunk too, if I recall.

Anywho... I said that I just had a bus ticket on me. (Plausible deniability always works.) I think he kept pressing the issue of cash, and I kept explaining the bus ticket. Eventually, he got pretty flustered, spluttering 'I don't want a bus ticket', and walked off.:lol:

So, whenever strangers ask me for cash, I use the ol' bus ticket ploy. ;)

I really hate people that ask for money.

Where I used to live, yes. I pretty much never gave money to them. Their stories were usually completely ridiculous or unbelievable and I was just sure they were going to run to the nearest liquor store or drug dealer. If they want beer, they can get a job and pay for it just like I do and did.

yeah quite alot, though i dont really give them money, i give it to people who dont ask hahah xP :P well the ones who ask are usually druggies :0

When I was coming right out of work, some random guy (who wasn't a bum) was with a bunch of his friends and asked me for money. He said he knew I had money but I didn't give him any.

There is a couple of homeless guys that like to walk around my college campus everyday asking for money. Everytime they have tried asking me for money I have flipped them off. I can understand hard times and people needing help, but doing that everyday without ever looking for a job really pisses me off.

I remember a guy asking for money when I was walking around New York City. He said something like "all I need is one dollar to catch a taxi". I didn't give him anything because after about 30 minutes of walking I saw him again across the streets asking for a dollar.

That happens to me every now and then. Even though I know they're probably going to use it for drugs or whatever, I still give them $2 or $3.
