I think its gotten pretty bad. I tried to watch it and i had to turn it off cause it wasn't funny.
Do think Saturday Night Live is still funny?

No, and it hasn't been for a long time. I'd say it stopped being funny around the early 2000's. I can't quite pinpoint when exactly, but SNL has always gone through phases when they've lost good comedians, dropped for a while, and eventually bounced back. They have yet to bounce back.
Yeah, its been terrible for a while now. It sucks because they really do have some talented people on the show, but they just can't make it work.
It's the writers they're awful IMOYeah, its been terrible for a while now. It sucks because they really do have some talented people on the show, but they just can't make it work.

Yep. The performers aren't too bad, but the sketches just aren't funny.
it never has been funny. i find myself changing the channel or daydreaming when i watch that crap if i end up stumbling upon it. when the crowd laughs, i ask myself "what do people find in this??" FantasticusHave you ever seen the earlier stuff? There were good times, like the 70's, part of the 80's and the early 90's. The show's been on for a long time, so to say that it has never been good is to say out of the 1000's of skits they've performed, none of them have been funny. That's a pretty bold statement.
I think its gotten much better in the last couple of years thanks to Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island. If you had asked me in 2005 or 2006 I would've agreed but I think the trend recently is a good one.
I've been watching some of the newer episodes, and while Andy's stuff is pretty funny, one of his music videos every several episodes just isn't enough to save the show. He's just not as funny when he's in the regular sketches. Probably not his fault, though.I think its gotten much better in the last couple of years thanks to Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island. It went downhill when Will Ferrel left and especially the older crew in the 90's like Adam Sandler, Chris Farley died unfortunatly, Horatio Sanz, and Jon Luvitz. It's funny. Madtv sucked when SNL was funny and now it's the opposite. SNL only made a small little comeback when Tina Fey imitated Sarah Palin butshe left.
Andy Sandberg is probably the only funny cast members because of his music videos. But, that's really about it. When they added that Kenan Thompson guy to the cast I knew that SNL really hit rock bottom. He wasn't funny on Knickolodeon what makes them think he'll be funny now?

Sometimes the crowd doesn't even laugh. It's really awkward sometimes.
Andy Samberg, Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are funny. I usually like the digital shorts but thats about it. Haziqonfire
They are the 3 worst on the show!! Kristen Wiig turns everything to crap. Once Tina Fey left a good portion of the writing talent went with her and other than Weekend Update the show is borderline unwatchable. They have horrid pacing problems. Those weekend update random guests last way too long it should be like 30 seoncds and out but it's like 2 minutes of cringe inducing crap. SNL needs a solid hiatus to find god writers and comedians before trying again
