I want to ask, I doing a study. And it's for anyone 14-21, I just want to ask you guys do you listen to The Beatles? Do you find them timeless? If they aren't one of your favorites at least do you think they are good?

Nope I do not like them. And thats not a bad thing.Sway-You don't have to like them, It's your opinion and that's cool.
I don't like the Beatles, but I like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, so, I do appreciate older music.
I'm 18 by the way. All my friends hate my music, so whenever they're in my car we just listen to the radio. They always ask "JOHNNY CASH AGAIN?!"
They're OK, I listen to a lot of classic rock but I've never seen why they were such a huge band. If some of their music comes on the radio I'll listen to it but I won't download any of it.
I know a lot of people my age who like The Beatles. And I listen to them casually, so I'd say yes.
But I think the whole, "The Beatles are the greatest band that was/is/ever will be," attitude is a lot less common these days, though.
I can take them or leave them. Never was a super fan.....but I don't mind hearing the occasional song.I'll always like The Beatles. They're a part of my life. I've been hearing their music all my life.

Ummm I don't really listen to them but I know some people my age that do. I don't think they're bad though, just don't listen to them.

Such as and including??
No offense, but I'm fifteen, and I can't stand listening to any bands from 1990-today. I am afraid to turn on my radio.
I love the Beatles, and I really wish I was alive when they were together.
John and Paulare some of the best composers that I have heard.
Bah, you guys are lame.
The Beatles, Revolver and Rubber Soul are some of the best albums ever written. Do you realize how much they've done for music? How much they changed? For me, they're timeless. One of the few groups that I never get tired of... I can always put on any of those albums and enjoy it.
Im a couple years out of the age group though...
I respect what they did for music. The music itself is only okay though.Bah, you guys are lame.

I can't speak for any one else....but I find them to be one of the most overrated bands in existence...Ridiculously simple, boring, and meaningless..... Darth-CaedusSeems like you've only heard their earlier stuff like 'i wanna hold your hand'. Their latter years where anything but 'simple'.

Yeah, I mean if you don't like the music, you don't like the music. That's just you. But it's a little ridiculous to me that so many people go around completely trashing them. They worked their asses off and ended up being part of a push that innovated music.
I like most everything they put out but I feel like a lot of people who are trashing them haven't listened to very much of their music. I could understand their first couple of albums coming off as boring and simple but they eventually took things to a much higher level. They ended up as a studio band because the music was too complicated to produce live. I dunno how anyone could really think songs like Tomorrow Never Knows or Happiness is a Warm Gun are boring. They created such a mood with their music.
I enjoy their music quite a bit. Though, that's mainly because of McCartney. What a wonderfully underrated bassist he is.
I'm seventeen, by the way.
I enjoy the Beatles simply because I think they were creative and made some really memorable albums like Rubber Soul, Abbey Road, the White Album, and even Sgt. Peppers.
I'm betting most of them "likes" them cuz it makes them "cool" or have "sophsticated tastes" I have a feeling most people don't really listen to them as much as their more favored bandsInfinite-Zr0
Or maybe they are listening to the Beatles because they are a talented band.

It may have evolved, but I prefer older music like Johnny Cash and Elvis.
The King of Rock is an appropriate title for him. I don't like the biased, unfounded, bull**** rumors about racism and Elvis though. His music did more for the civil rights movement than people give him credit for. He partied with everybody.
