I usually crack them a few times a day.

Especially if I have to write a lot.

I use to do it a lot but not anymore because doing so is bad for you. Plus there's no really point to doing it.

Yes, and contrary to popular belief, there is no evidence that doing so causes arthritis.

Only when my knuckles and fingers feel icky.

I never understood how cracking the knuckles could be so bad for you when doctors charge high costs to do the same thing to the other joints in your body.

I have a ritual where I crack every joint in my fingers, then I crack my wrists, then elbows, then shoulders, neck, upper back, lower back, ankles and toes.

once in a while i can crack my hips.

it pisses other people off but it feels good so %^* em

smerlus

I'm the same but I can't crack my neck. I do my jaw though. It all seems to relieve a lot of tension.

Unfortunately yes. I'm trying to stop because I don't want arthritis.zeppelin_64

actually cracking ur knuckles does not cause arthritis. an really has no downsides. in my opinion it increases flexibility in your fingers bcuz when you crack them you are moving your finger s beyond what its used to therefore it could improve flexibility

There is very little evidence on the issue. If it is doing any damage it seems to take such a long time that it isn't really outside the realm of the normal aging process.
