And does it bother you? I'm the only one out of all my friends literally who doesn't smoke, it doesn't bother me at all I use to smoke but quit . It is uncomfortable for me at times considering I hate the smell.
A number of my friends smoke, but none of my friends smoke cigarettes, which works out just fine for me since I don't smoke cigarettes either and don't particularly care for them. However, if I had a friend who smoked cigarettes, I can't see myself caring too much. It'd irritate me a little since I don't require smoke breaks and I don't like the smell, but I wouldn't let it ruin the friendship or anything.
I've never had too many friends but a circle of friends I had a few years back all smoked apart from one, and I still keep in touch with some of them but since my son was born I've been drifting apart from them, I guess because I don't want him raised in an enviroment with smoking, but out of that circle of friends, one has quit smoking and the girl who didnt smoke to begin with started dating another of my friends who smoked and he got her into it or so im told, whereas he has apparently started using Cocaine now im thinking it's the start of a downward spiral. :\
At one point, I was the only person who didn't smoke. Now: there's only one or two of my friends that actually still smokes. I often find that the ones that aren't in college are the ones that smoke. But that's just the trend amongst my friends.
Yeah it's irritating more for me cause we will be jamming or playing video games and they'll be like " I gotta go smoke a Grit " then I'm like damn since I'm out numbered I have to stop what I'm doin and chill with them while they smoke with that suffocating aroma...
People still smoke? I've seen cigarettes in department stores but I thought that was just for the novelty. I occasionally see middle aged people buy them from a gas station late at night.
In the group of friends I'm usually with of about 10, I'm one of two that doesn't smoke. Outside of that, I'd say more of my friends smoke than those who don't. I used to smoke when I drank and socially for about a year but I decided I didn't want to anymore and just stopped. I probably rather they didn't, but smoking doesn't really bother me.
