do u like naruto

One of my friends actually got me to watch an episode of that show. I don't like anime in the first place, but the show was horrible by any standard. They fought for about 10 seconds, and the rest of the show focused on what they were thinking about doing next.

Then again, I guess not all of the episodes aren't like that...But it's not like I'm going to try to watch it again... >_>

A bit. The action is decent, but the story is way too slow moving.

If I had a favorite character, it'd probably be Shikamaru.

The first anime I got into, and one of my faves. :D My favorite character (despite only being there for a short time) is Zabuza, he rules. ;)

• Repetitive action with characters constantly talking about eachothers tactics
• Storyline hardly progresses and constantly gets side-tracked
• Too many episodes to keep track of (220 total)
• Mediocre voice-work (Especially on the English dub)
• Cliche characters
• I just flat out hate the animation and style

Those are the main problems that I have with it.

Exactly. There is loads wrong with the show right? That is why you don't like it. Those things don't really bother me, well except for the English voice-overs. I can't speak Japanese though so, i'm at a loss for that. It does tick me off a bit when things go off-track but I justroll with the punches. I still think Naruto is great. You don't. It's all a matter of opinion that's what everything is today, and what everything will be tommorrow.

Yes, I am well aware of the fact that an opinion is still just an opinion, and I can understand how you like it, and I don't. There are many things that I like and others don't, Metal and Anime are two prime examples of that, but like I said before, that's just what I don't like about it.

I read the japanese manga. I don't bother with the english version. Don't like the anime either because they put way to much filler into each episode, not only that but the quality of the episodes are mostly garbage. I don't know who my favorite character is.

Don't read the spoiler unless you read the japanese manga.

Maybe, [spoiler] Kisame or Tobi ( Before he was revealed as Uchiha Madara ). Shikamaru post Asumas death is really awesome. Still laid back. I guess Naruto as well. It's nice that we got a confirmation on his dad. Looking forward to the backstory of his mom. Son of the 4th Hokage. I know this is a setup for the end but I can't wait. It can only get better from here. [/spoiler]
