Personally I can't stand MTV but every now and then ill be flipping the channels and ill see sweet 16 and sometimes it catches my attention and ill watch it for a bit and I just see these braty girls treating their parents like crap..telling their mother to shut up and charging over 1000 on their dad's credit card..Do u think this is just an average thing to do or do u think those parents should of spanked them more when they were younger? lol
MTV tells them what to do on camera for extra money. However, that they would even do this crap annoys me. And the fact that many of these 16 year old girls are getting Audis and Merz. If you're going to spend that much on a first car, buy them a Hummer so that when they crash, they live...
Yeah i know that trust me ive seen parental control which must be the most scripted reality show on TV :P but this stuff still happens none the less and it bugs the crap outta me..I must inform the white house about this monstrosity! *runs*
A little spoiled yes, I think a lot of it is that the dads are usually working, the moms are in their own land, and then the kids are in their own land...so money makes up for it. We are pretty well off, but my parents would kill me if I spent 500 bucks without asking them.
What's the point of celebrating a sweet 16? great now your 16, at least when hispanics celebrate their version of it, they're 15 so at least its not some random number like 16. Don't tell me it's because you can drive cars :o
Young adults are impressionable and will watch anything pertaining to how rich others are and stylish and what not. People will watch it no matter what.......I think it's trash TV to be honest.
