Do you act the same way you do in forums in real life?

I'd have to say that there is a big difference how I act on the internet and how I act in real life. What about you? Are you completely different? Is Gamespot like your alter ego? Spill the beans!

I type the same stuff I would think and say in real life but obviously there is a big difference as to how I perceive myself in real life situations compared to internet forums.

I rarely post on here and am "shy" when it comes to posting. In real life I'm pretty out spoken.

Normally I'm more forceful than I am in real life on forums, but since I mostly lurk here, I try to be friendly.

I dont talk to strangers in real life.

I talk about the same amount on the Internet as I do in real life - I sometimes feel like I have nothing to add to conversation, so I'm occasionally very quiet. Strangely, I think I'm sometimes a better speaker online than I am in real life! :P

Same online as I am offline, quiet most of the time, attentive, always listening, rarely speaking unless it's best to and usually not showing my sense of humour often and doing my best to keep from any emotional outbursts.

Also just as in real life, I do my best to be polite, respectful, well mannered and considerate of others.

I act completely the same. I blog about nothing to my GS friends, same as I talk about nothing to my reality friends.

it depends. I used to troll System wars and say things there I wouldn't say to most people in real life. Usually I am pretty stand up in both forums and real life.

I'm louder and crazier in real life, especially around my friends. I try to act more mature on here because I like to make good first impressions and I take every post as my first impression.

The main difference is, I have a lot more time to think what I want to type out; so it's more the real me in the forums whereas I am not that good at quick replies in real life and so I often end up saying what was not exactly what I want to say, replying with shallow answers.

I'm a tad different in real life. One might think of me as an idiot if some the things I say in real life were posted here without context. My jokes are very harsh, ignorant, and just plan wrong most of the time. I am also pretty quite in real life.
