Do you ask your parents for girl/guy help?

Yeah, I know. It's kinda weird to do that feeling its all taboo and your parents might grill you.

But honestly, after (or before) posting for help here on GS do you ask your parents about it? They did get married to each other, so I assume they might help.

I guess some peoples parents are like that, but mine stay out of my buisness so I let them know. Better they actually know then let them assume what is likly a worse off assumption of me.

On topic, I don't ask them for help. I would not even ask online for help. I'd ask people my age, friends, for help.

Well seeing as how my Mum had 3 kids, each from a different father and has been twice divorced from guys she never even liked in the first place, and my Dad is an outrageous womaniser, i'd rather not.

I'll tell my mom I'm not coming home tonite, then she'll say "No i'm only 17", but then i call her a hypocrit, leave, and come home at 9:30 in the morning, when she will make me pancakes, and then i will go to work.

But thats it

Number one reason children are so out of control this day: NO COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS.

Parents are the best resource you have for advice because they are your care takers with the most life expirence and the most likely to actualy have your best interest in mind.

It's sad that more of you don't talk to your parents about this. I talk to my parents about anything and everything with no shame or fear.

No, even if I did, I doubt they would have ever helped me. For most of my early adolescence they somewhat made fun of me for liking girls.foxhound_fox

It's hard growing up in two different generations, things are constantly changing...maybe if my parents were younger, yea I would talk to them but it's too great a difference in age for me.

When i'm older though Ill try and talk to my kids about most things...
