I've been with my girl for 5 years, we just got enganged.......i'm 25, and its like, all of my associates, which is close to my age thinks i'm an idiot because i'm loyal. or they talk about my morals and say i'm an old man. i just beleive in cherishing your woman, especially if she's been there for you. grant it, the people who tell me this are single, i just don't think its cool to sleep around, risk disease or lord behold getting a chick pregnat who isnt the right one and having to deal with her for the rest of your life, together or not. on the other hand when i talk to some folks man or woman about marriage who's been married for like 25 to 30 years, they tell me there is nothing wrong with commitment and have no regrets about being committed to who theyre with. hey, if i'm not cool because i beleive in loyalty, then so be it

honestly, I would go one notch higher and simply call this common sense. Morality almost doesnt even seem like an issue since cheating is such an obviously bad move.

Its like "Hmm should I jump off this bridge?"...pretty much the same severity/ease of answer, with cheating.

If you are going to commit to a serious relationship, you shouldn't jerk your parner around by cheating. Either you want them enough to be only with them, or you can explain to them that you want to see other people too (or just not commit in the first place).

Around here people don't understand phrases like 'common sense' and 'morality'. Just last year someone in my senior class put a computer through a wall. Not just a laptop either, a full tower... I can't wait to get out of the Detroit area.

Honestly, I've had thought about a situation and if it actually happened, and wondering what'd I do, and I've actually thought about it. I'm 99% sure that if put in that situation I'd do the right thing.

I don't approve of that, however I don't think it's so terrible to discuss sexual attraction to others when with someone, that denies basic instinct.
