when you think about the universe and how big it is, with the billion gazillion stars, it's hard not to beleive that there's life out there. we really can't be the only ones out here....
Not in the way most people think. If small bacterias and germs exist on other planets (odds are some where they do) then yes, aliens indeed do exist!
i don't see how you could not believe in aliens
the same tools used to create life are found all throughout the universe
it's just a matter of chance
"saying NO ITS IMPOSSIBLE" is simply wishing for what you want

theres a hundred billion stars in each of the hundred billions galaxies and counting
the chances that there isnt even small cell life and simple organisms? impossible
Not impossible, just extremely, extremely, extremely unlikely. And I thought it was something like 400 billion stars....theres a hundred billion stars in each of the hundred billions galaxies and counting
the chances that there isnt even small cell life and simple organisms? impossible

in my honest opinion, I believe that in this ever expanding universe, there a Billions of earth like terra, teeming with life; some primitive, some extra-intelligent.
Of course alien's exist.. I don't believe they're green and bug-eyed and have a strange homicidal hate of the planet Earth, but it's basic probability that at least one, if not billions, of the trillions of trillions of trillions of planets was also hit with an amino-acid carrying meteorite. I don't believe they're advanced like us, we're an oddity even in Earth's vast history. I just mean there is most definitely some microscopic worm species on some planet, or algae, or something like that.
Growing up as a kid, i use to believe. Now cant imagine that humans & earth are the only living species. Still no proof though...
Yes I do believe in aliens. Do I believe they have been to Earth? Yes. You never know if one of them could be walking right beside you disguised as a human or something.
No.
Aliens are not a spiritual element. They exist entirely within the realms of our own reality, meaning paranormal encounters can not have any bearing on ones belief of their existence. Since aliens exist from a soley scientific point of view, faith has little meaning in the matter.
That being said no, I've never seen or read anything to get me to believe in them, and even the most convincing events such as recordings of pilots being "attacked" can be attributed to a cruel joke before suicide.
Also, according the physics, its impossible for us to ever reach them anyway. They have no way of finding us, we have no way of finding them. If they do exist, they exist well beyond the approachable realms of our galaxy.
And to follow-up my last post, National Geographic recently wrote an article I read where they stated that Hubble has discovered a habitable planet. Like, life could completely live there. So if we can see a planet that could harvest live, and what exists is proven to be so many billions times what we can see, then it's only common sense there are many many many planets that are habitable, and like I said before, all it takes it one meteorite carrying amino-acids, and some water, and poof you have DNA!
true man, true. maybe not in our solar system but maybe in a far far galaxy...*ahem it sound like star wars sorry~when you think about the universe and how big it is, with the billion gazillion stars, it's hard not to beleive that there's life out there. we really can't be the only ones out here....

I've always thought it was kind of ridiculous to say thereare no otherliving creaturesanywhere else in the universe.
so...you don't believe in aliens, but you do believe in lifeforms in other parts of the universe. that's called aliensIt's not that i believe in aliens but i do aknowledge the fact that we cannot possibly be the only form of life in this universe

Right even if there was life out there, say 30 million galaxies away - even if we knew they were there we could never get to them.
Everything to do with interstellar contact would have to be done through technology.
I don't ever see a meeting taking place.
Its not impossible, it would just take decades to reach the nearest system with planets. And secondly tahts according to today's physics laws which are pretty primitive.. we still got lots to learn.No.

I think it's quite likely that somewhere out there there is some form of life, although not necessarily sentient. Then again, we could just be a fluke and we're all alone.
Do you believe in magic? In a young girl's heart..sammyjenkis898First post = win On-topic: No, I don't believe in aliens, but I think it's ignorant to say that there's no way that there's other life out there. It's certainly possible that there are beings on other planets. We just have no idea, so it's ignorant to take either side really. We simply do not know what's out there. Our universe is so big, there's no way we could already know every centimeter of it.
Of course I do. Statistically, there SHOULD be millions of intelligent species throughout the universe. In fact, scientists believes that there are probably a few intelligent races in our galaxy alone.

Ive heard the opposite because the conditions for us to get the world like it is and livable arelike 1 in 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 but meh who care Im probably wrong. :P
