I believe the opposite of what astrology infers: We are not special, we are fragile beings living on a fragile world and the universe couldn't give two flying fvcks about us.
I love all that weird mystic stuff and religously read about a dozen or so different horoscopes every single day, on my pc if im at work or on my mobile if im elsewhere.
Short answer, no. However, the answer is not solely and simply a no. That is, from a Christian perspective as according to the Scripture there seems to be a time when it was not to be unheard of to make decisions based upon such things as astrology and the casting of lots. Examples would be the wise men from the East who followed the star to Bethlehem or the Disciples decided who would be the 12th disciple with the casting of lots. However, these methods are former methods, no longer of use due to more certain methods being available. These new methods would be the text of the Scripture and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit we are given greater discernment in our decision making and through the Scripture we can know the mind of the Lord. We need not read the stars any longer as God has made himself more explicitly known through his Word. Trust the Scriptures, not the stars.

No, because there is no real proof that the way the planets and stars are aligned will actually shape a person. To me, it's pretty inane to think that one's birth date determines their fate and can help them make day-to-day decisions
My friend seems convinced by pure conveniences after reading horoscopes. I personally think it's just some guy at the bottom of the barrel who got hired to make up stuff to write in the back of a news paper.

You are approaching the issue with a bad premise. The universe is non-sentient and so it does not matter whether it should/would care or not because that is a meaningless question. Significance, meaning, importance, etc. are the products of the minds of sentient individuals. We are the source of our significance. We are what gives meaning to our lives. We are what determines our importance.

Every time I've ever read the Horoscope I can easily see how all 12 signs resonate with me...as well as any other person. They're always give you a cleverly vague discriptions of what the everyday average person will experience. I have other reasons for not believing in them, but this one should be good enough...
