Yes, because it comforts me to believe that there is a place somewhere in the universe (or outside of it) that is without these topics.

No, that is not truth, but a child's wish for immortality. And many of you who have stopped believing in heaven have not abandoned the same desire, though it may be even more irrational without dogma...

I believe that each person creates and lives through their time in either heaven or hell while they're alive on earth. People who believe they are doing good and will come to a heaven when they die can relax and not worry too much when they're alive, while people who constantly worry about their god wanting to punish them for their sins, real or imagined, are -literally- going through hell.

Hope this made any kind of sense...

Hardly heaven, but something beside this "reality", of course. I mean, the infinity of the reach of our mind, can only mean it's not ending anytime soon.

Man, i have so many, many beliefs and hopes, too many to describe here, in just one post. It took me 5 years to reach this point, i can't take it all out in a paragraph. Sorry man.

I don't see any proof to prove it. I also don't see any proof to disprove it.

So, in other words, we'll find out.

If you think about it Heaven is a bribe:?

If you obey 'gods' rules you go to Heaven, if not you're stuck with pain and torture in Hell:twisted:

Actually all it takes to go to heaven is to believe Jesus is your lord and savour. Somewhere along those lines and you can be a murder, rapist or whatever and still go to heaven.

Indeed it would. But there's alot of hope out there that there's a place good people go after death, to meet with loved ones again. It would be a shame if that isn't true, yes?

Apparently, only your soul goes to heaven, not your human body. Either that, or humans in heaven are perfect.

By "answers nothing" I assumed you meant that there was no life after death in a state of cognition. In that sense, you wouldn't know any better, so it wouldn't matter.

I believe in heaven, but not hell. If god is so forgiving then why would he send people to hell? why would he send people to hell anyways? he would just be fueling satan's army. also, he's freaking God, if he wanted to, he could MAKE people good, and then send them to heaven.

And that was my point. Life is priceless, and yet it's the most "expensive" thing you can own. Imo, life should have no end. A heaven would bring an exception to that saying above.

I'd argue it does, yes. I don't see how you can retain memories and be incognizant.
