Friendzone absolutly exists and there's no real way to get out of it, despite what people say. If a girl doesn't like you, she doesn't like you and that won't change - and it certainly won't change by being nice to her and being her friend because why's she going to give it up to someone whogives it out for free?

been in a few myself,yes i do,the only pro friend zones have,is that they can be led into a friends with benefits kind of relationships if you know how to play it off.

I'm getting tired of men talking aobut the friendszone. To me the friendzone doesn't exist. To me it's like "Do I want to sleep with/have a relationship with that person or not?" I'm a girl btw. And I don't reject my guy friends becuase we are friends I reject them becuase I'm not attracted to them and my attraction can be based on many things. BUT if a guy friend is attractive to me I would act more obvious about it.

There are reasons why a guy friend is attractive: You guys have a history together and get along so well, he lightens up your mood no matter what, he has handsome looks that make you blush. He is a interesting mystery! You wish to get to know a more intimate side of him. He might be above your league and all perfect and you two have the greatest times together so ther might be a chance. He did something that was just so amazing and made you go wow!

There are reasons why a guy friend is unattractive: He gives off a desperation vibe, what if HE lowered his standards for you since he is not flirting with a hotter chick? That can feel insulting. He might be way below your league but since you talk to him and have the same interests it gives him hope to act all weird. He is really annoying trying to impress you when all ready made your desicion as a no. He follows you around a lot probobly to ward off the guys you want. He kitty blocks you away from the guys you want so you get pissed off. He is one of those guys who arnt really smart and say dumb things to be funny. He is not good looking. His personality isn't want your looking for in a parnter.

In the end its really about what you carry in your basket and if the other person is interested in that merchandise or not.

Ahh yes, the friend zone. I've been there and I'd be a fool to say I don't believe in it. It's only as bad as you make it out to be, there was a girl I liked a whole lot. I knew her for years and years and we talked about being with each other.

She said we're too close and she wouldn't wanna risk messing it up (We were best friends about 4 years) there are so many things about her that make her an amazing friend, I'll take being friends in a heartbeat over just abaonding the friendship.

Years later I found someone just as amazing and we got together, she found someone and we both ended happy. We're still really great friends and go out for double dates and what not like crazy

Friend zone is all about perception IMO lol :P

It really does exist.

All of these are just different branches of rejection. Slap whatever name you want on it if it makes you feel better, but it is what it is, unfortunately. I do agree with the above users though.

The friend zone is when two people are really close, but one of them is interested romantically in the other. It's called the "friend" zone because being friends is a last resort, or a consolation prize. Basically the person who has the romantic feelings is only "friends" with the other person because it's better than nothing, but at the same time they are actually friends... it's just they only want that friendship to be the foundation for a relationship, not the entire thing. At least in my experience this is how it's been. I am friends with the person, but at the same time we're not real friends because I don't just feel friendship for them.

On top of that the two people are actually close "friends" - so there's not really any room for "mystery" or "intimacy" because they already know that through this friendship. In the friendzone, the other person never has to ask themself "do I or don't I" because they've never had any feelings that have sparked the question, which negates most of your "reasons". The problem with the friendzone is that two people get close enough that they could be in a relationship and yet one party isn't interested so you're stuck in this zone being "just" friends yet you're close enough that you've developed feelings for them.

I find it interesting when girls don't know or believe in the friendzone. It most certainly does exist whether you realise it or not.

It's the only reason i have so many female friends.

It exists, therefore I believe in it. Do I understand it? No.
