Well technically I believe in aliens. In the sense that I think that in all likelihood there is or has been life somewhere else in the universe. I'm not so sure about intelligent life visiting Earth though.
that would be awesome of intelligent life came to earth though. i believe in aliens.Well technically I believe in aliens. In the sense that I think that there is or has been life somewhere else in the universe. I'm not so sure about intelligent life visiting Earth though.

They probably laugh at us from afar on a distant star somewhere.:lol:Well technically I believe in aliens. In the sense that I think that there is or has been life somewhere else in the universe. I'm not so sure about intelligent life visiting Earth though.

Demons, angels, and spirits, yes. Fairies, leprechauns, Nessie, etc., no. Aliens, possible.mindstormthis that and the other thing :P
I believe in Cthulhu since he lives one street over. Pretty nice squid/dragon other than the driving humans mad thing.
I voted aliens. Because of the usual bajillions of stars, can't be the only life forms, etc.
I'd like to think of high-tech aliens. Because of lazers.
like ghosts, aliens, demons and all that.Laughing_GodMind if I turn the tables and ask what YOU believe?
Aliens shouldn't really be grouped with mythical creatures. The universe is so MASSIVE that's it's really more rediculous to believe that they don't exist.
In fact, physicists have created formulas to try to predict the percentage of intelligent species that may exist in our galaxy. When you apply the same formulas to the universe, the numbers tell us that there are probably millions of intelligent species out there.

What if the aliens are mythical creatures?
You mean like unicorns or angels? Then you can count me as a believer. :oWhat if the aliens are mythical creatures?

Well, if the universe is so big that aliens must exist then I don't think it a stretch to think that some of those aliens are humans with wings or horses with horns.

What if the aliens are mythical creatures?
That would be a fantastic evolutionary coincidence.
I thought about bringing up that creatures on other planets COULD look similiar to faeries or demons. I'm not sure about the chances of that, as it doesn't appear to be a particularly advantageous design.

Well, since we have no clue as to the environments in which these aliens would evolve in, and since we really don't know what advantageous would be to aliens in the first place, I'd say anything's within reason.
[QUOTE="Laughing_God"]like ghosts, aliens, demons and all that.alphamale1989Mind if I turn the tables and ask what YOU believe? I picked choice 4

A giant red man with horns and a forked tail?
You're right of course, we don't know what kind of environments they will develop on. We have a fairly solid understand of what type of environment would be needed to support intelligent life, though.
Faeries.. I'm not so sure. It's not even close to an efficient design for flying. But I won't deny their existence with 100% certainty, because I have no way to ever know with 100% certainty.
[QUOTE="alphamale1989"][QUOTE="Laughing_God"]like ghosts, aliens, demons and all that.Laughing_GodMind if I turn the tables and ask what YOU believe? I picked choice 4I am more inclned to believe one may be real than all of them. And not necasserialy the way people percieve them. For instance I might believe in ghosts, but not as beings or spirits, more like a pyschic/energy photograph or imprint. Its just residual energy,it has no real identity but as a marker of past energy use.
