Do you buy Dvds or Blu ray discs?

Always buy the Bluray version of movies unless it's only on DVD.

DVD, since I make a digital copy of the DVD on my computer adn stream them from there to my AppleTV. Great way to do it. It'll be a while until Blu-Ray players are common enough in computers to make digital copies of them.

I rarely buy movies anymore because of Netflix. When I do, I just get them digitally through Amazon.

Both. However, I've never actually gotten a blu ray movie.

I am trying to only buy blu-rays but I still get some DVDs.

Neever. I do want the Dark Shadows collection though but thats only on dvd and i don't want all those discs really. ;pKiIIyou

I got collection 1 a couple weeks ago. Still need to sit down and watch it. :P

I buy tons of both DVDs and blu-rays... I don't have any shortage of space and I love collecting them.

Although I do have a fair few DVD's, Blu-ray is my current preference where possible.

I probably buy 50 DVD's for every 1 Blu ray I get. DVD's look perfectly fine to me, Blu ray is just sort of a novelty where you can see every pore on the actors' faces and stuff.

Ah, but then there's the audio quailty. If you have a half decent enough audio setup, you really notice the difference with the sound.

Blu-ray discs for me. Most Blu-rays come with a DVD and digital copy as well. BdogTheGamer

Blu Ray, why anyone would buy DVD is beyond me. Must be one of those 360 owners who is stilll using outdated tech. Just buy a PS3 and join the future, Blu Ray is amazing!

I used to, but now I'd rather rent them from Netflix on BluRay disc.

All depends on how much heart went into the blu ray. Plus, popcorn movies (piranha for example) are always bought on dvd.

i mostly buy dvd's cause noone elese in my family has a blueray player and they always borrow my dvds.
