I haven't EVER, even though I have thought about it and thinks it's a good idea for some games. However, why buy the cow when the milk is free?
Thank you internet, thank you.
I used to back in the days before the internet was everywhere. I'd play a game and then play it through with help from the guide so I could get, kill, do everything. These days they are mostly collectors items as they have been made irrelevant by sites like gamefaqs.
I used to buy them for the majority of games I played when I was a kid. I didn't really need them, I just enjoyed reading about video games. They're actually how I learned to read as a kid. Now that I'm older, I don't buy them anymore unless it's a special deal with the game or something to that effect.
It's easier to look at a free online complete walkthrough, than to spend money on a strategy guide. Besides, I have a laptop, so the convenience is there too.
ive only bought guides for oblivion and resident evil 5 but i like to beat the game first before even opening the guide.
never..only one i ever bought was for kingdom heart , cuz i didn't have a computer back than
Vashn
It isn't really never if you actually have.
And to answer the question, no i do not buy guides. Everything i ever needed i found on the internet. And i like playing games on my own.

I haven't bought any, but I read part of a Call of Duty strategy guide in Best Buy the other day and it was interesting.
