Do you care about global warming/climate change?

I just wanted to know what the OT community thought of this issue. I personally fall in between 2 and 3... I think its quite important, but its seriously overblown by movies such as "The Day After Tommorow" and Al Gore (anybody catch the South Park reference :P )

I care. This is a huge problem. Not only does it show that oil companys control our governments, but demonstrates the fact that the human race never deals with issues until its almost too late.

I care in the sense that I hope most of the world's population is wiped out...it's ok if I'm one that dies...it's for the good of the Earth.

Global warning, if it continues like this, will be a disaster, I think. But it will happen in many years, if it really happens.

Global cooling is going to happen within the next 100 years, it's just a cycle the earth goes through. That's where I stand on the issue.

No. I care about getting the paycheck I deserve, feeding and raising my family, and putting them through college, helping them getting started in the professional world, and then retiring comfortably with my spouse...like most Americans. Starting a global panic and implementing a bunch of environmental taxes doesn't help with any of those. Scream at me if you wish.its_me_

That would be because General Electric is drivng the whole panic thing. The more they can convince people to buy "green", the better off they are.

Of course I think we should do everything we can to not pollute and make our planet a pile of garbage. But the idiotic changes proposed by the dimb bulb environmentalists are retarded. manbearpig isn't going to kill us all, get over yourself Mr. Gore. And the Earth is in a natural cycle of hot-cold. So naturally, we can be in either one of the cycle.

To some degree, but I really don't think it's at the top of the priority list of starving people in poor areas or people in war-torn states.

Yet for some reason those issues currently get comparitively little attention.
