I think that they can be when they want to, but usually they are just filthy useless animals.

What exactly curtails a noble animal eh? It's all survival in the end I guess, but I do think in terms of cleanliness they are pretty repulsive, but they don't know better anyways.

Rats ARE noble animals. They are "survivors".

And when people are "survivors", it's a noble trait, right? So the sam must be true of rats.

Rats are actually VERY clean animals. They only live in dirty conditions because those are typically the only conditions in which they can live without having people kill their asses.

As I said before, they are survivors. They don't like being dirty, but they have the strength of will to do what tey hate in order to survive.

Well when the environment and circumstances allow for it, they can be clean. Typically that's not the case. But yes they are indeed survivors, as they are one of the oldest types of mammals on this world. They survived the extinction of the dinosaurs plus 65 million years. Got to give it up to em.

Noun

Singular
noble

Plural
nobles

noble (pluralnobles)

  1. An aristocrat; one of aristocratic blood

[edit] Antonyms

  • commoner

[edit] Adjective

noble (comparativemore noble, superlativemost noble)

Positive
noble

Comparative
more noble

Superlative
most noble

  1. Having honorable qualities; having moral eminence and freedom from anything petty, mean or dubious in conduct and character He made a noble effort.

Well I have seen films in which rats are in aristocratic positions. Honorable qualities? Hmm. I guess surviving so long is honorable, but eating poop and whatever they can find is not. They seem to share food with eachother so maybe they conduct themselves in a good way. Now honestly, noble to me relates to the time of kings, which I believe is irrational. So if I found a noble rat I would probably kill it or set it free.

haha, there can be no such thing as a "noble" animal when all animals act on instict. Noble would imply raising above what would othervise be considered purely existentialistic

I like rats too. Perhaps we should help them conquer the other animals. Or atleast set them free in every mall in America.

The rats in malls deserve to be freed. They could be running along the walkways & the elevators. Surely they'd eat up all the expired food among the foodcourt and terrorize the electronic boutiques while wearing overpriced clothing.

I wouldn't say noble, but they are cool. Did you know they can drink beer? And eat soap, and taste poison in their food and spit it out. And they can swim half a mile through the ocean. Oh, and if they don't chew consistently then their teeth grow so much that they curl around and stab the rat in its own brain.

I kept rats for a number of years. They are clean, intelligent and affectionate animals. They recognize their owners, and can even be taught to perform tricks.
