I just cooked my first homemade Mulberry pie yesterday and it turned out great. Everybody that tasted it, loved it. My mother makes a lot of homemade foods, but I am just starting to get into it. Made homemade cream cheese icing a few months back that was awesome. I need to get off the dessert kick and make actual meals.

What homemade dish have you made?

Love cooking, and baking. I don't get to do either very often though.

I like to make a lot of dishes from scratch, if I can. I'll make stir frys, casseroles, and lasagna with just the basics.

I would say my favorites are chili and homemade chicken soup (including making the stock).

I cook or grill out practically every day. There are some meals I make that have leftovers so I can eat that when it rains and I cannot grill.

Most of the time, usually on Sundays.  I cook all day so I don't have to during the week so much.  Anyone can cook pretty much anything if you have the recipe and some directions.
Of course from time to time I'm sick and tired of cooking and just use quick freezer meals from the store.

Yup. Just got back a little while ago with a bunch of stuff for a good stir fry. Haven't gotten around to it yet, I've been busting ass all weekend in this hot ass weather.

I like cooking things myself because I often go off-recipe and tailor whatever I'm making to how I like it. I prefer bacon in my stuffed bell peppers as opposed to beef as you get with the frozen ones, and fresh roma tomatoes (for the sauce) are so much better than the typical ones in frozen food, for instance.

Love cooking when I have the inspiration to do so. Currently waiting for some chicken to finish baking. I'm making a chicken florentine lasagna, I got a pasta machine yesterday and couldn't wait to use it, so I have fresh home-made whole wheat pasta sheets waiting to cook. I made a mornay sauce to go with it with fresh basil from the garden. Mmm :)

Yeah, I started about a year or two ago to save money. It gets super expensive eating out a lot. I cook breakfasts a few times a week which usually consist of egg, cheese, pepper, onion, mushroom, meat ( bacon or ham) omellette with fruit or toast and coffee or tea. Also cook beans, brown rice, salads, pizza, fish, etc. Bbq meats like sausage, steaks, burgers, etc on the grill about once a week too. Gonna cook some meatballs this week with homemade noodles and premade tomato sauce. Always looking to cook something new.

Youtube huh. Never even thought of that for cooking and I don't know why. Youtube has videos on just about everything.
