Because I don't.

Not in years. Like to have a Coke or Pepsi when I go grab some Maccers or KFC, but I haven't had any of either since COVID. My tri-weekly grocery deliveries are just too convenient, and I haven't felt like ordering them.
I cut soda out of my life, almost cold turkey. The amount of sugar in a soda can can’t be a healthy amount.

As long as you don't drink too much. Some people like to drink 5 sodas a day, wash down their candy with it, to later have a McDonalds meal for dinner. That's a great way to get diabetes. Having a soda once or twice per week? More than fine.
@pokemonexpert45: There was a topic about that earlier where everyone talked about what they like to drink, and this topic reminded me of that. Everyone had their answers and I was curious what yours would be.

Soda is literal poison and there is not an argument for any benefits to it.
A single can of soda makes up more than half your daily sugar intake, and I'm sure a lot of people go for more than one can of soda. And that does not even account for the sugar you consume through the day in foods and other beverages. People are consuming more than 4x the amount of sugar without even realizing.

For me, just 1 Mountain Dew a day is all I need. Never go beyond the limits on constantly drinking sodas. Always drink plenty of water if you can and everyone should.
