I actually kind of hate the whole concept of money, and long for "Trekonomics".

Not that I don't appreciate the need for money, or want to live like a monk. I just think that, outside of breathing and eating, it's essentially the one thing on our minds. At least as an American. I feel like after getting our most basic needs met, the earning of wealth, of worrying about it, of needing it so bad we go into debt where we now owe more than we borrowed--the sheer desperation that surrounds the obtaining of wealth--I hate all that.

Just to make a living, well yeah I need to make money.

I did. Thankfully paid off my place at 33, before going on disability and now I just appreciate my costs are covered. After losing my mum, learned real quick that family is the biggest priority.

I like to build. Building requires materials, and materials require money. Earning it is just a means to an end.
