The only time I've been inside a starbucks was when a friend bought me a free coffee. I am virtually lost when trying to read the menu. Too many choices.

Only if there's no alternative around and I'm going through caffeine withdrawal. Even the stuff we make at work is better than that place.

As a last resort. There's so many that you can never say that you're not close to one. I go to other coffee shops around town though. I recently discovered this in-the-hole place that has a GODLY blend. Sometimes I contemplate driving the 30 minutes to get to it.

yes, but I tend to like Timmies coffee a lot more. If I ever go to Starbucks, it's usually with my sister and I get that mocha in the glass bottle.

Agreed...those are really strong colours :P On topic, I rarely go to Starbucks because their coffee isn't that great and I prefer my coffee from Tim Horton's (and including the iced cappuccino in the summer :) )

My sister works there so yes I do. I hate their coffee but love their frapuccino's and iced tazo tea.

I dont know why people say that about Starbucks. Me thiinks because its overpriced.

Personally I like their coffee a lot.

Granted I have only tried two or threee types of coffee from them, with Mocha being my favourite.

Not really. It's not bad, but I'm not a big fan of over-sweetened hot drinks. I drink my tea plain and I take my coffee black. I used to like the vanilla chai tea that Hunter's Landing had, but I pretty much stick to unsweetened tea / coffee now, just used to it.

Their espresso bean blend is over roasted, and the shots pulled are horrible. I don't know if it's because they don't properly calibrate the pressure and grinders in the morning, or if they never clean the heads properly at night, but it tastes rancid.

Granted I'm probably more of snob when it comes to coffee than most, but even folks that are moderate connoisseurs can distinguish between SBs and local roasters who don't keep their beans around for more than a week.

Yea I would go every day if I could. Its just so expensive and the $4-$5 each day adds up. Much easier to make a cup of instant coffee at home for like 3 cents too.

Sometimes I go and buy a Frappuccino, those are really good. But Starbucks is really expensive, $5-6 for a small 250mL bottle.

Not anymore. I used to love Starbucks, but it has gotten too expensive for my taste. I only went there for the frappuccions anyway since I don't care much for coffee to begin with.

I'm not a big coffee person, so on the few times that I have gone, I ordered the hot chocolate, and for whatever reason, it wasn't great.

Nah, don't really care for coffee much to begin with, and even then I find starbucks lackluster. Their expensiveness is also a problem.

for drip no, nobody drinks drip at starbucks and it just gets gross all day since they don't brew fresh drip, gas stations are better for drip I will go to starbucks for a tasty drink, like a chai latte, I'm not above that, besides those "indie" coffee shops are just as expensive and pretentious for things like that many times though I'm satisfied just getting a cheap gas station cappuccino

Hm maybe the other stuff in Mocha (which is what I buy) cover up the taste of the coffee for me enough to not notice anything.

I have never drunk plain espresso.

There is only 1 Starbucks in my town and its inside a grocery store. That was not the point of your question though so the answer for me would be no. I don't like coffee and I can make my own tea at home
