Do you ever just get tired of people?

I am starting to get tired of people in general for some reason. I don't know why but I wish I was just left alone, maybe it is the IT in me but I don't have an IT job so I guess that doesn't count. I just hate being bugged at work and people singing around me, it is just dumb.

So are you guys tired of people, well besides the people in the OT?

I work in retail, so yes, very much so.

Yeah all the time, I get tired of nosey people I know mostly, I don't even try to be polite when I tell them where to go now.

Yes most of the time I just want to be left alone.

I have never liked being around people, they all suck.

I don't really care. I'm not dependent on people but I don't despise people either. Talking to people can be fun, but I'm not reliant on human contact.

That's why you have to craft the people who are around you very carefully

No matter what you want that's fine just make sure you pick what you want.

Too many people deal with people they don't have to because they think it's the right thing to do

Know what the right thing is? What makes you happy

If you only want to deal with attractive people then only do that, if you only want to deal with smart people then do that, if you only want to deal with nice people then do that and when someone who doesn't fit your needs shows up make sure to get rid of them as soon as possible. Just explain that they do not fit your requirements and that you'd like to them to leave.

Once you start doing that your life takes off

Yes...I hate people a little more each passing day.

Here is an example that happened yesterday (just posted it another thread):

I just had some jackass try and sell me something at the gym. As in motion me to take off my headphones and make a sales pitch
-some damn bracelet that is supposed to increase balance, endurance, and strength
-I wear headphones and keep my head down (avoiding eye contact) for a ****ing reason...I want people to leave me the **** alone

Is it any wonder why I hate people...they seem to lack social awareness these days

I could write a page about why I hate people just at the gym.
Do not even get me started on people at work or people out and about

Wow that guy was an ass, I also hate people who bug me when I have my headphones on at work. They try talking to me and I have to pause whatever I am listening to and it just throws me off. Maybe one day if you get the nerve to write that page about how you hate people I will read it in a heart beat. :D

Yeah... In the end it just isn't worth putting any trust into them.

Ugh don't get me started gym's, what on earth makes some people think that you spending money to use equipment in a short period of time before or after work with you're whilst having your headphones firmly glued would be a great time to talk about anything. The only time I talk in the gym is when Im with a trainer apart from the that I try my best to not attract any BS distractions.

Or the people that stand right in front of the weight rack (just to be right in front of the mirror)...now you have to wait for them to finish to grab some dumbbells...just stand the **** back and out of the way

Or the people that do not rack their weights...yes, I pay membership fees to come rack your weights

Or the people that soak a piece of equipment in sweat and don't wipe it down...I sure am glad I pay to come here and clean up after you
-I call this the 'pool' guy b/c it looks like he just got out of the swimming pool

Yeah people can bug me like in the lunch line today some body cut infront of me again grr its really gets on my nerves sometimes I mean really cant these people just wait

Work is the worst b/c you have to be nice.
I can go off on someone at the gym if I want to...no such luck at work

I have a ton of people that talk and laugh at extreme decibels all day...as in I have no idea what work they do...but if they are getting paid to laugh, they are the ****ing employees of the year
-even with my office door closed and espn radio going I can still hear their obnoxious voices

I don't mind being around people and being social isn't too hard (outside of school), but I am sick of high school and its social dynamic. Bring on college already.

Headphones + music = saving lives since 1930's. No kidding. Its the lack of awareness in people that speaks volumes

about them. The way they move around, body language. The rare intelligent person is always a pleasure to spend time with.

I feel that way 80% or more of the time. No joke.

I am ridiculously two-sided here.

I love being around people and talking to people and just having fun. It sucks spending too much time alone.

On the same hand, I hate the average person I think. I am too analytic and too much of a perfectionist. While I still hold myself to a much higher (and totally unrealistic standard BTW) my perfectionism does effect the way I view people....

It is odd that I can be one of those people hating the general population and yet at the same time I gaurantee you that as long as you are on my good side I can be one of the nicest people you will meet and am almost always willing to go a bit out of my way for others.

But yeah, there are times where I definitely feel the need to be alone and gather my thoughts....

I am already tired of people in general. All they do is complain, moan, sing annoying songs, etc.
