Do you ever plan on having kids or getting married?

I'm at a point in my life where I really don't know if I'm interested in the prospect of marriage. I see so many marriages failing today it's absolutely ridiculous. The lack of trust between partners today is appalling, and unfortunately the kids have to suffer with the marriage at the same time.

I'm almost convinced I will stay away from the whole 'marriage' thing for the rest of my life...But really, who knows?

I don't know about marriage..it's not looking hopeful..but i am certain i will never..never have children..

Yes and yes. It probably seems sappy, but I can't imagine anything being greater than having someone that started out as a complete stranger pledge to spend the rest of their life with you, and kids are just the icing on the cake. I think a lot of the allure of having kids is really hard to see until you have your own.

I'm staying away from marriage for a very long time-I can't even support myself properly, and I'm quite skeptical of others regardless. Kids, don't even get me started.

Eventually I will choose to settle down with someone and begin to raise a family, but I don't plan on doing so anytime soon. I still feel too young and feel that there is still much more I have to do before taking on such responsibility.

I'm trying to figure out marriage so slowly I'm managing to warm up to the idea. A little. Children? Absolutely not. I have no desire- quite the opposite.

I would highly advise you all to check the statistics on the divorce rate and read about the severe unbalances in the legal system towards men.

Only the most foolish american men would get married in a country the seemingly encourages women to divorce (70-80% are initiated by women) because of payouts like no fault alimony.

Just kids I don't necessarily need marriage. I'd like a girl though (first) and a boy after.

Not according to evolutionary psychologist. Fatherhood is considered one of the critical factors that increased beta males productivity.

While technically marriage and having a family is very important part of creating human civilization, in some places, like the US, I would encourage men to avoid it.
