Yeah, I have at least three friends that have accounts here, my brother, and sometimes I share funny news stories with my other family members (which doesn't include refering to Gamspot by name)
NO WAY. I wouldn't let any of those rad guys find out about my GEEKY GS account! Oh man the stuff they'd say in school! Cindy would never look me in the eye again!
If they ask? Yes. I don't randomly go "I have Gamespot account!" to people, though. Although it does help that most of my friends, including my girlfriend, play games...
No but a friend of mine found out I have an account here when we were hanging out in my room playing video games. I forgot to log off and he saw my account and asked if that was mine. I said yes then he left the site. Man good thing he didn't click on my account or he would find out how much I actually use this account. :lol: But I think he forgot that by now(I think), I don't want anyone to know that I post here. :P
Well, I don't go to them and say I have a GS account!... but if I'm talking about gaming, and GS has some relevance then why not? and many friends know that I have an account here. It's just a gaming site. I can't understand why some people think it's the equivalent of being a fat 40 year old in his basement playing starcraft. Jeez. :P
I don't keep it a secret, but I don't tell people that I have an account, why would I?:P Sometimes when I'm on the computer when my friends are over at my house, I try to show them a lot of cool threads.
Yeah, i'm pretty open with my mates and gf about it. Occasionally i get called a saddo as a joke but i'm not that insecure to let it bother me :P plus they're all quite grateful when i tell them stuff about games before they know =P
