I think my english teach has a huge bias against me. The best example is we got to do this project in groups we put in the same short ansewer ansewers. So the other 2 people in my group get a 90s and i get a 65. I just thought to my self WTF. Okay then the whole class had to write a 2 page story. Okay so some other kids write a story and they got a 85-100. I write a story and get a 75. I got some other people to read my story they said it was just as good as most people in my class. Yeah it's not fair
Perhaps privately ask her about why she graded yours like that? It may be grammar and/or content/quality, she might not have a bias against you. :?
Myself, I have a teacher who is now my mentor/friend now, I guess. We've been emailing each other for around a month or so now, and she strongly supports me and wants me to get onto the newspaper staff at my high school. (She was one of my teachers in the eighth grade, and she helped me through some difficult stuff last year. :))
My physics teacher was a complete douche back in high school. It was mostly because at the start of the year, his homework assignments were stupidly difficult. I would always get 3 or 4 out of 20 most of the time. Anyway, about a quarter of the way through the year after my first report card (in which he left really awful comments about me being destined to fail) i agreed that i had to start trying harder and couldn't give up so easily just because i find something difficult. The next homework i got, i went to a library and sat for about three hours in silence until i was convinced i'd given it 100%. I still got 7/20. I was really shocked, so the next week i tried even harder. I even went to see one of my brother's friends who was in college studying physics and got him to help me, but he said i didn't need any help, that i was getting most of it spot on. I hand it in, and again got less than half marks. I then checked the homeworks some of my classmates had got back with double my mark and found mine to be more or less identical in many respects. It wasn't like english, where one essay can be much better than another because of the writing style. It was all the simple use of equations and diagrams to find an answer, and he'd deliberately taken marks away from me wherever possible, sometimes even without reason. He'd just got so worked up about me being a failure that he refused to allow any improvement from me. I guess so he didn't look like an idiot when i got the A on the exam.
one of my teaches does not like me cus i have a asian girl friend ( i am white ) . she was nice to be befor but when she met my girl friend i saw this look in her eye ever since that day she has been hard on me. its not just me she is mean to any person in a interracial relationship it has happen to some of my friends 2
If anything for me, I've noticed some of my final grades higher than what I had calculated myself, I think that if you show your professors that you are really trying and act friendly towards them, visiting them during their office hours, they will show a certain bias favoring you.

=/ Seems like my College English II teacher. She tries to fail me and she even told me that I didn't hand in two assignments when she saw me hand them in. Plus, one was due at the end of the mod and the other was due at the beginning of class. Thinking about it... I never got back three assignments. -.-

It's a no no just because that's the way my school is. Everyone listened to rap, classic rock, and jam bands. My teachers didn't like me because I didn't try to fit in with everyone else. It was insanely stupid.

lmao, that's why I hate people. They can't accept others music or just other people in general.
My English 111 teacher didn't care for me because I openly disagreed with him on political issues each class. I think he was mad because I owned him a few times in our arguments.
