Do you feel better now that you can say what you think?

I do. Since "the change" I feel like I am able to say all the crap that I've been wanting to say when someone posts something stupid. And I feel pretty good about that. Quite a liberating experience. Before people got butt hurt cause you disagreed with them and then someone would report you for trolling. And now you can troll someone and make them even more butt hurt and they can't do anything about it. I think that's fantastic lol.

So yeah, making it easier doesn't make a difference.

I think the biggest effect it had was that countless stupid trolls can now blurt out their brainfarts without any consequences. Especially SW is even more horrible.

Hasn't changed my posting style that much, but what I have enjoyed is the increase in traffic. OT has being doing well all day ^.^

I agree that I have never found it hard, personally, to have a chat with an individual and find out what they're about. If there's something they do that annoys me it doesn't take long to find out why they do it I mean and then I'm OK with it.

Obvious example - people mock users with PC-build thingies in their sigs, PC users explain it's so they don't have to repeat it all the time in the PC forums, suddenly it all makes sense and people are OK with it.

I don't get why a group of people would choose to mass together like a pack of dogs and try to 'punish' a user for a habit like that when all it would take would be to politely ask a question or two.
But LJ I think they hardly obsess over you. They just know you'll drop them predictable tid-bits that instantly gratify their undeveloped sense of amusement for a wee while. Which is what they need. Apparently.

I did call someguy an imbecile just a little while ago. Much easier than having to come up with more sophisticated ways of saying it.

I will admit, I was very skeptical at first, but I'm starting to enjoy the new rules. Some people need to know they're being stupid.

OT from what I seen so far has been pretty good with the new rules and system wars is teetering towards total destruction at times with annoying trolling spammers being able to create spam threads and alt accounts to agree with whateverthey post on the board.The mods also sometimes take awhile to get rid of these guys.
