Yeah, I'm happy with my life and the future looks bright. Like a lamp.

I think you're just looking at the lamp next to your bed. :P

Yeah, but it's a magical future-telling lamp. I got it for $350 off Ebay.

For the most part. Despite all of my physical insecurities, I'm proud of my life, I'm proud of the person I've become, and the person I aspire to become. I'm proud of the things I've done, I'm proud of the way I look at things, and I'm proud of the fact that most people think I 'don't know how the world works,' despite the fact that everything I have done by nonconventional means has worked for me in the past. I'm proud I stick to what I start, I'm proud of the company I keep, and I'm proud of myself.

^ I almost feel the same way...that's why I'm going to paste this here: "For the most part. Wow, that was almost like an epiphany lol=]

Well seeing as my Summer consists of doing absolutely nothing I just tend to want to go to sleep and dream about doing something.
Pride is the basis of all evil. I'm happy with my life, myself, and my work, but I'm not proud.enterawesomeXD I'm proud. Not only am I happy with myself, I have self-respect, which is what I see as pride. I guess definitions vary, but I do feel good about my achievements. I don't see any of it as wrong. I think everyone should have the right to feel good about what they've done, or who they are. I've become the type of person I respect, and I'm proud of that. -Ari-freakin-el
Hmmm, I don't know if I'm necssairly proud about my life so far, but I am content with my life, and am happy to be myself.
Coming from a different culture I would say "feeling proud" is something that is just as foreign to me back when I first set foot on American soil 13 years ago as it is for me today.
The only thing that is remotely adequate to describe something as "feeling proud" to me is that I have no regret at this point in my life. Sure, there were instances where I could've done things a bit differently but, when all comes to pass, those events were good experience and I can safely tell everyone that I have learned much from them.
pride is the downfall of all humans.. it leads to positive things only for a short time then it leads to a group of people who think they're better than others.
Feeling proud doesn't necessarily mean that you feel superior than others, the question asked here is pretty if you feel satisfied with your life.pride is the downfall of all humans.. it leads to positive things only for a short time then it leads to a group of people who think they're better than others.

Yea these days I've been working real hard with my pops, but everything is going great. I recently just saved up enough to get myself a super, high performing gaming pc and I couldnt feel anymore proud. I ccan't help but feel, though, that I'm going to be sitting in and playing games for the rest of my life. I don't know if thats awesome or scary.
Well since pride comes before the fall and Batman's dad said that we fall so that we can pick ourselves back up then yes, yes I do feel proud of myself.
I'm proud of some stuff in my life. Like I'm proud that I learned to swim... in a pool of money! :)
Since my house is packed to the ceilings in cash except the line of vision between my eyes and the computer screen, yesterday I had to find a new place to put some of my cash that I brought home. I found that if you unscrew every other lightbulb in your house and throw it away, you can use that empty space to store money. Also, there is a lot of empty space inside your ceilings. I stuffed those with cash, but I found that sometimes the pipes get hot, which causes problems. I also packed my fridge entirely full of cash since I only eat out. I can't cook here because the microwave and the toaster is full of cash. Also the oven. One time I turned on the stove and it almost caught the money on fire which would have caused a chain reaction so I quickly shut it off. I just get KFC all the time now.
So yes. I'm proud of my complete awesomeness and my ability to accumulate unfathomable quantities of cash.
