Do you feel/act awkward when you see a student or teacher outside of school?

This is a really random question that I just thought of because I always get an awkward feeling when I see and talk to a teacher or student(unless he's a close friend) outside of school and in a store like Target or Walmart. Do any of you guys ever feel that way?

Not really. Whenever I see an old school/college teacher I just say hi and, if neither of us are in a hurry, I'll stop and talk about what we're getting up to now.

WOW, yes. I never know what to do. It's the worst when it's someone I talked to only a little bit. I don't care very much if it's someone I never spoke to and merely recognize, and I don't care if it's an actual friend or a teacher I really valued, but I hate seeing an old acquaintance.

I also hate running into people from high school around campus at college now. A lot of people who never talked to me in high school suddenly want to be friends and I don't know how I feel about that.

I was always more comfortable with students outside school for some reason.

Students? nope. Teachers? Haven't had that problem yet.
