I've been texting my friends a lot because it's cheaper than phone calls and we don't get to see each other much, but lately only about 60% of my texts have been received by them. :| I still get charged for the sending, but they don't get charged for the receiving of the message. Does this happen to you, and if it does, do you get annoyed by it?
I don't text enough for me to notice this happening. So far, all my texts have gone to the intended recipients. Also, everyone I know already has seen me naked so it's not like I'm embarrassed if I send one to the wrong person.
Don't most phones show if your text doesn't go through? I use an iPhone and I'm notified if the text doesn't go through. I have to think this is standard.
If you're worrying about getting charged text-to-text you either need to reevaluate your cell plan or get a job.

i got at&t and my texts go through about 80% of the time. It notifies me if they dont get through, but it's still annoying. unlimited texting so i probably dont care as much as you though.

Well it is more complicated than that. Me and her have been friends for years and starting this year I started to like her. I tried to avoid it and tried to dismiss it as a phase but it persisted. :P
After she got it we talked on the phone until like 2am and we both proclaimed we liked each other alot and we both just wanted to wait until after high school to delve deeper into these feelings.
But for right now we are very close friends and tell each other everything. We talk until about 2am almost every night now.
I have unlimited texts under Optus, but when I was with Vodafone it used to always happen to me. Now it only happens occasionally when I'm in areas with bad reception
It's happened to me before, but I don't really care because I have unlimited texting. If I think that my text didn't go through, I just wait for a little bit and then I resend it.
It honestly is straining my relationship with my girlfriend. We very rarely see each other, we both aren't comfortable on the phone (with anybody!), and our texts never get through to one another. :(

I don't care about it because when i'm sending the message to my friends, they giving charge for every text that i send, but i'm don't receive charge when i'm receiving message from my friends. Anywaw, i'm not always texting everytime everyday, but still keeping my credit even my account got hang when i'm not top-up the credit after the limitation period.
