Do you HATE Apple and Mac.?

I'm a mac user and I feel that mac's are better than windows, when it comes to media and productivity. but when it comes to games, I still use windows. But I'm arrogant for having one

I hate the iPods but not Apple...yet. They've done some pretty slimy things to keep the iPod on top.

Heck no. Since I got the iPod video I've become an Apple lover. The thing is well worth the money, iTunes is the best music store in the world (internet or actual store). The prices for albums are awesome...Almost every album is $9.99, and they are like $15+ at FYE, Circuit City and Target.

The iPod is the best music player ever made. The layout is great, the design is awesome... It works perfectly.

My next computer is going to be a Mac. They are awesome.

well if you're going to nitpick about things i hate people that use the wrong forms of there,their,and they're 

yup i hate them cuz im a nonconformist.

I prefer buying $150 Mp3s that break down after about 3 months and buying laptops cheaply off of Ebay and then finding ants inside.....like I said a nonconformist.

I love my iPod (though I probably would have bought some other mp3 player if I didn't get it for free) and I would love to get a mac book. From what I've seen, most Apple haters don't have legitimate reasons for having such strong hatred for an electronics company.Ryeferd

Because Apples are trendy and the nerds who arent and never will be trendy resent the fact that other people can use THEIR technology to be trendy. They long for the days of beige boxes and command line interfaces.

Well I've never seen an ad showing someone running with a video iPod. Dancing around, sure, but that is just to look happy and crap. You know, there are Pepsi commercials where people dance with a Pepsi and do flips and crap. Obviously, if you do that in real life and open your Pepsi you will get foamed. Use common sense.

When I got my video iPod I looked up whether I could run with it and found that it was reccomended that you not bounce around with it. Not a problem. I use it at school while studying, at my grandmothers apartment while studying, and on trips. It's great for those occasions. I also use it while on the stationary bike. I put it in a protective leather case and set it in the cupholder between the handlebars so it doesn't bounce around.

I expect it to last a good while. And I think my dad got some kind of warranty that allows for a free batter replacement every year for so many years, so I don't have to worry about the rechargable batterly slowly dying.

I'll probably pick up a shuffle this summer to take jogging with me. 

I don't hate either of them. :)

I like them, I like my ipod, it was free, and it is small and such, plus I want a macbook.

They aren't quite lies... They just don't say the whole picture...

Did you see the one where they talk about the PCs saying that; 'Oh, this PC has Error 689473'? and then they try to show that Macs are better because they have no error codes that pop up...

But this is how it works:

PC ----Something bad happens               =         Error Code

Mac -------Something bad happens          =         Sits there.... just sits there...   yummy apples...... just sits there

I have 4 different iPods of varying ages never one problem with any of them. I also used a Mac at work for 4 years with no problems, so there ya go.

No, but I hate their commercials. I think it's sad that Apple feels the need to resort to highly skewed advertising filled with disinformation and half truths. Perhaps they should have the "PC dude" rock out with all the games he's playing while the "Mac dude" twiddles his thumbs.

Again, Macs are great, but the ads are lame.

Dude... I agree completely... It would be so wicked if Windows striked back with practically the exact same commercials... using someone really cool like Chuck Norris as their mascot, showing him gaming out while a Mac user gets run over by a Smart Car... ahh... I would dowload those commercials...

I dislike the way apple try to make the mac seem far better than windows, for absolutely everyone, and every task. We all know, that for serious computer users/gamers, Windows is superior. I also dislike the fact that there are much cheaper options than the Ipod, that are better. I hate neither of them though.
