They always put Jeffery or worse :o
Geofrey

Yes they always put an "er" instead of an "or"
GAH!!!
They do it right for like the whole year, and then the always spell it worng the last half
I get it ALL. THE. TIME.
I literally introduce myself as "Aethan-with-an-'A'.":x
Theokhoth
I've always liked the name Aethan  That and Imogen and Leon :)
Oh man i've lived with this my entire life. I swear to god my first sheet of paper i got in kindergarten had "Colton" on it.
Its always "Colton" "Coltin" "Colten" "Kolton" "Kolten" "Koltin" Mostly just "Colton" though. I had like three sheets of papers teachers assigned to me today under "Colton"
I guess i've kind of gotten used to it. Though my name is spelled "Coltyn"
Yes! My name is Allison and people usually leave out the second L, or just call me Alice. Apparently, those people just shutted out the son part. My nickname is the same way. One time someone wrote... Meenako.MistressMinako
My mum's called Alison (spelt with one L) - it's a right pretty name :)
my names mark so it would be hard to..... though tofu has managed to misspall my username a few times...markop2003
Lol oh yeh I've just noticed it's markop not marktop :) Tehe sorry about that  :P

People need to stop with the variation of the same name.
It still sounds the same, so I don't see the point.
And yes, I do get tired of it, only because from what I know, "Donovan" only has one spelling that people use
And sometimes its just ridiculous.
This girl in a class of mine knew a girl whose name was phonetically pronounced as ladasha. But in the spelling, there is actually a hyphen. I kid you not.

I see what you did there. /read that two days ago on the interwebs somewhere.
My name is spelled Chantel, but I always get Chantal, Chantelle, Chantalle, Shantel, Shental even. When I was a kid I had a best friend named Chantal with an A, and we went to the same preschool. We always got each other's "work" back.
[QUOTE="Ice-Hot_MoFo"]I have never had that problem as my name is common and easy to spell
PlaWeird
Well be glad that your name isn't a name of a day of a week or a month -_-
My surname's English. I've been called Emma French, Emma German, Emma Spanish etc. I don't see why the chavs thought they were clever for working out my surname was a language and applying others in its place. Whenever someone shouted that at me in secondary school I was always like "Wow well done! I seriously haven't ever heard that one before"
It got to the point where I was going to change my surname to my mum's maiden name as she'd gone back to Edwards and me and my brother were still English. However I'm now glad I didn't because all my mates in 6th form think my name's really cool and I've even met a girl called Becky French! :D
