You sound like one of those fanboys who has complete and utter hate for a console.
I didn't like anything Mac when they were flopping around between OS7-OS9x, but OSX changed everything. Now I want a Mac laptop... badly.
[QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]When someone says Macs are much better, they're telling the truth. I hate the fact that people think Windows is better and probably haven't used a Mac, save at school or for five minutes in a store.R-Dot-Yung
OSX is better than windows...
But Macs are not better than PC's
I think the benefits of the OS outweigh the hardware negatives; for me personally, anyway. I like knowing that Apple will take responsibility for my MacBook and fix it if needed. Also, I'm not concerned by upgrades and the aesthetics are worth a mention too.I am getting tired of their stupid commercials thats for sure.-ZeRoHouR-You prefer the boring kind that are in no way entertaining?

I don't hate them but i don't like the ideology, only being able to use apple OSs on them, apple making most of the software, iTunes is hugely overated i opended the new version and thought it might have been styled to be retro!
Also they attract art students not computer programers and technicians which just shows which is better.
PCs offer more freedom free software, linuix if you want it, complete personilisation.
One final note: the only reason macs don't get viruses is because they're terrible in the first place;)
I don't hate them but i don't like the ideology, only being able to use apple OSs on them, markop2003Apple support the use of Windows and Linux on Macs. Leopard comes with Boot Camp pre-installed.
One final note: the only reason macs don't get viruses is because they're terrible in the first place;)markop2003No. There aren't many viruses for Mac because they only make up a small portion of the market. That doesn't mean they're terrible... at all.
[QUOTE="plague32390"]Yes, and I also hate most the people that use mac products. They are a social stigma uppon the human race, with their stupid square frame glasses and starbucks jumbo moca latte that they paid $25 for.R-Dot-Yung
wat about the rich kids who use macs either because
a) They are pretty
b) dont get viruses (yes they freaking do)
c) want to video chat
MAN THEY PISS ME OFF
So both of you actually hate Macs because you view them as a status symbol? Hmm...[QUOTE="SolidSnake35"][QUOTE="R-Dot-Yung"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]When someone says Macs are much better, they're telling the truth. I'd love to make OSX my primary OS, but Apple thinks their ish dont stink and therefore they can lick my bawls...
So until the day they take the chip off they shoulder, i will dual boot Ubuntu and Windows
The beefiest mac comes with 2 quad-core processors and slots for up to 32 gigs of ram, 2 terabytes of storage, and 1.5 gigs of video memory. What the hell do you need that much processing power for? Playing Crisis?
I won't give them a chance until Apple makes less than 200% profit on them...
for example the high end macbook air, 3000 for a slow computer, even the low end model is 1800 and that one is a dog...

This I agree with. The mac air is pretty cool looking, but mind-blowingly expensive for how much you get. you don't even get a CD drive (but, according to the announcement, they are a thing of the past).
