Do you hate school orientation?

Do you hate school orientation? I do. I hate it because, you know, it's school. But there's other things that bother me about it, too. Due to social anxiety, I don't like being around many people. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to socialize with another student in front of my mom, too.(Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh.) It feels awkward being at school orientation with my mom because I feel like I'm the only one there with a parent...it's almost embarrassing...ugh.

I can't wait to get it over with; it's stressful. My school orientation is August 19-20 from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. My mom says that we'll go when it's not busy.

I just want to start school and do well this year. I've almost always gotten mediocre grades and I really need to shape up. I wish my stupid social anxiety would just disappear into thin air, too.

Anyway, do you hate school orientation?

If you mean college incoming student orientation, yeah, I ****ing loathe it. I've had to suffer through it twice now; once when I was a freshman and again when I transferred schools. I hate it because it's all so pointless and they don't tell you anything that you don't already know. To make things worse it always goes on for way too long (usually something like three days) during which you have to wake up at 8 am to go to llike 10 hour's worth of timewaste meetings to say nothing of the loooooong periods of time you have to spend waiting around doing nothing because the damn college can't get their **** started on time.

I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. Well...at least not until I go to grad school. Ugh.

There isn't orientation in my school, nor a school photo (only individual ones). So I'm afraid I can't relate.

I always hated it too. My mom can be so embarrassing.

I skipped every last one of them. So im like a ghost during orientation day. Nowhere to be seen. Reiji-Arisu

It's pretty boring, and mine's today, but my friend is having a party afterwards so everything's gonna be alright.

Freshman orientation tomorrow, i'm dreading it...:cry:

School's not bad. You get to socialize with other kids and learn.

Yeah, i hate it..new environment, teachers etc..plus my college messed mine up so i had to fix it :|...this is how i felt..plus i like this song :D and i was looking for an excuse to post it anyways..
