I really hate it when people ask questions during a movie. I also hate when they interrupt a movie just to say "I don't understand what's going on," especially multiple times. I mean if you pay attention maybe you would understand. What about you guys? Do you hate this too?

Oh my god, I am in total agreement with you. It drives me crazy when people spend the whole time asking questions during a movie. I don't mind a question or a comment every once in a while, but I can't stand it when all they're doing is asking question after question.

That only bothers me when they do that during an important or actiony or funny part in a movie that I want to pay attention to.

I suddenly remember a certain discussion about the type of annoying people you can find in a movie theater... I think I had it on this site >_> Anyway, those are annoying. But there are most certainly other kinds of "movie theater people" I hate more... at least these clueless people usually whisper when they talk.

My dad and I are experiencing this with my mum. We have spent the past few days watching Oz (currently a quarter of the way through season 4), and at least 4 times in an episode she will ask a question like "who are they going to kill?" we answer her and she asks "who's that?". We have been watching this show non stop for the past 5 or so days, how can you not know who is who?! :?

Or when people decide to take their cell phone out, and text. Or even have the nerve to talk on it. That makes me mad; it's distracting. >.

I've never had anyone ask me anything in the middle of a movie, so I wouldn't know my feelings on it.

My wife does that from time to time. The only annoying part is she'll inevitably pick a time in the move that you need to be paying attention to when she asks so then I miss something.

This doesn't happen to me much in the theater, but it happens a lot at home when my dad walks into the room and starts asking all kinds of questions about some film he will never see or stay awake to see. Sometimes I feel like telling him to **** off or ask him what the point of asking about these films, but I don't do it to avoid conflict.

Yes! I also hate it when people add their own commentary to it. They just randomly blurt out something obvious like "So, that guy is the other guy's brother."

I like being able to help people understand the movie. I'm helpful :)
