I recently acquired one. For a long while I didnt really understand what that meant but the meaning is clearer to me. Its someone you can talk to anything about imo. Is that what one is for you?

Most of my friends have moved for uni, become drug addicts and dropped off the radar or we just had a falling out.

I'm not sure if I consider anyone a friend any more

Many of my friends ended up dropping out of high school or started doing hard drugs.

Same here. Acquaintances, colleagues and vague contacts are cool and all but you can't really rely on anyone but yourself.

Yes i do thankfully, I can be anyones best friend because i respect any opinion no matter how much i think its wrong. i think anyone on this board is willing to talk about subjects that most people don't, i mean look at our topics.

I have three people I can talk to about anything and they won't judge me or just pretend to listen. They really care and will mourn or celebrate with me, depending on the occasion. We call ourselves the Brotherhood and we'd each lay our lives down for each other.

QFT. Same here. I've had my best friend by my side since the end of 6th grade. I have another friend whom , I've known since since we were about 4 or 5 , Our parents were friends and thus so were we. But we aren't as close as the one I've known since 6th grade. SO yeah I got 2 best buddies.

Yes, she lives in Liverpool though and I've not seen her since February, but we still call and have the odd gossip - us living in different parts of the country has resulted in us not being as close as we were before.
