i wouldn't consider my wife a true gamer but she does enjoy playing some games with me like rock band, castle crashers, zuma, super mario bros. wii and littlebigplanet (she's hooked on this game right now). she also enjoys watching me play some games like bioshock 1/2, dead space and god of war 3. the only games she absolutely hates when i play is modern warfare and left 4 dead and that's because she hates the sound of all the gun shots and explosions and the fact that i yell when i play those games.
my GF loved watching me play MGS4, she never seen/heard of MGS before, and loved the story in the 4th one..
My wife used to be more into gaming when we first met. She played more Diablo 2 and Dungeon Siege than I did. She dabbled in WoW for a little bit and will play the occasional console game with me (but never by herself). She thinks she'll get back into it when Diablo 3 comes out.
Yep. We've been together for 5 years, married for two. She plays a lot more World of Warcraft than I can stand, but otherwise our interests in games line up pretty well. Sadly though, I've never been able to get her into horror games, or any horror at all really. Ah well, no one's perfect.
when i bought DA my GF loved it, she hinted around to borrow the xbox, so i let her, she beat the game before i did, she played in all day long, never seen her into a game as much as she was with DA..
To a certain degree. She enjoys the usual games you'd expect a girl to enjoy, but she also enjoys Tomb Raider and Bioshock. Recently, she's been getting into Dragon Age: Origins.
Probably due to the little guy. :P Nah, she reads too much to bother with gaming.[QUOTE="Travo_basic"]She used to game a lot, but not so much anymore.entropyecho
Nah, she reads too much to bother with gaming.Travo_basicI have to admit, the former is much better than the latter.
my girlfriend isn't a huge gamer but she loves video games. she has a PS2 and a PSP. we play them together once in a while.
Overall I'd say so. She doesn't keep up with all the latest news and all, but she has a 360 and plays from time to time. Stuff like Halo, Gears, Final Fantasy, etc.
No. But that would rank in at about 99 on a list of the top 100 things I am looking for in a mate. Time apart is just as important (if not more so) than time spent togetherrawsavonYou don't believe in the mantra "Couples who play together stay together"? Or, more commonly, "Unloading a virtual shotgun blast into your mate's face in Counter Strike is a great way to get over losing an argument"?

Perhaps the most important part of any intimate relationship :P
But of course. Such as when I'm playing a game, and she says "Hey... lets go play in bed..."Perhaps the most important part of any intimate relationship :P

And I say, "Sounds good, baby!"
So then this ensues:

That made my day. You know you are getting old when you would rather play than 'play'rawsavonAfter almost 6 years, I've unlocked just about all the "achievements" with my gf, if you know what I mean. However, Just Cause 2, on the other hand...

Yeah, my gf of ~4 years is the one who got me to start playing WoW. She's mostly into Zelda/Darksiders/Tomb Raider adventure type games, and of course we play Rock Band and Guitar Hero like pros.
I WISH. all she cares about is the mall and clothes . bleh ! :(mm551144this. pretty much my situation, lol.
