Nope, not anymore. Last job I had was as a cashier at Wal-Mart; I worked there for five long, lousy years.jalexbrown

I'm suppose to start tomorrow but I think I'm going to get fired. They supervisor just left a voice message that I start tomorrow morning and for me to come in on time. He never left the time or directions for what building I'm working at and I can't reach him back :P.
Yep, working as a restaurant manager as I have for the past three years. I recently took a demotion to work on and promote a series of graphic novels that I've been working on with a team of artists and writers that I know. Still making about $2200-$2500 every month after taxes get taken out, which is enough to cover my bills and then some so whatever.
I work in the shipping department of a wine company. People log on, order ridiculous amounts of wine and we get it out the door. TacticaIThat sounds like it would be an okay job I guess. I think I could deal with that for eight hours a day.
Practicing attorney...property, oil and gas, title examination, and similar specializations at the moment. Exciting? Not terribly. Difficult? Not terribly. Solid six figures ever year? Hell yes, and that doesn't even include the royalties I receive from the wells I've bought into, OR the income contributed by my wife, who is also an attorney. I love my job and my life.

Um...hm... Good question. Okay, nevermind. :P[QUOTE="TacticaI"]I work in the shipping department of a wine company. It's tedious work, luckily the people are amazing.

Tedious work never bothered me all that much to be honest.

Um...hm... Good question. Okay, nevermind. :PI can take a picture of the stack of warranty deeds, leases, and other courthouse records I've been going over all week. But, that would require me getting out of bed...

I don't get it, and please don't call me that.
I do have a job and I get to travel with it. I have been to Holland and Canada besides around the Southeast and Iowa. I am a nondestructive testing technician and do glow in the dark on occasion due to fluorescent penetrant use on industrial gas turbine parts, boiler floors or welding overlay. Mostly I check for cracks.
