If you are a vegetarian, then sorry can't have anything to do with you.GazaAliI used to be one, for about 2 years when I was 13. I could NEVER go back to that time.
No, but I'm glad I don't. Especially if they have that there superiority complex.The_ZoidI have another friend who was vegetarian for two weeks, he had had a superiority complex, telling me that "I don't need to eat meat". After two weeks he went back to eating meat.....man I'm telling you, a good sum of vegetarians just do it to look sophisticated.
My brothers girlfriend eats icecream then feels bad afterwards because there is milk in it and the cow suffered giving the milk. What a stupid whore. Most vegetarians and vegans I know are out there hippies and then some are great people who just don't like the taste of meat.

Its a generalisation, i'm a vegetarian. I have no superiority complex, i'm the most self loathing person you'll meet :). In fact its the other way around, i get victimised and criticised a lot for my choices by meat eaters, which is sad and depressing. But meh you roll with the punch.
lol, "for health reasons." didn't 23 people just die this year eating cantaloupe? and 9 last year from sprouts?
anyway they are just funny people i had one try to convince me once that human canine teeth were not meant to shred flesh.
how people can deny their genetic legacy is beyond me.
i totally agree most of us eat too much meat but to take it to that extreme is just laughable.
I'm a vegetarian myself, but I never bring it up unless when it's necessary (when eating at a restaurant, for example). I generally avoid discussions about politics and ethics with friends like the black plague, to be honest, as the odds of something good coming out of such arguments are pretty slim.
Not really, but there was this really
really
super dumb girl at school, who claimed to be a vegetarian and yet, she ate chicken. When one of her classmates told her that chicken was meat, she looked so shocked  and said "Chicken is meat?! But it tastes too good!"
There isn't, but its the hypocrites and the people that impose their beliefs on you that are annoying. There's nothing wrong with being vegetarian.

I know quite a few vegetarians and vegans. Some do it for moral reasons. Some do it for health reasons. None are preachy about it. I find the "I only eat free-range chickens" meat eaters to be more annoying to be honest.cd_romlol i only eat white meat,do i count? :?
I don't get why people would do it for moral reasons. Plants and animals share the same common ancestor. So you know what you are? You're a cannibal. :P but seriously I don't see a problem with eating meat on a morality basis.ChampionoChumpsA lot of people don't have problems with eating meat. They have problems with the companies that supply the meat and now they treat their livestock. Watch Food Inc. and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Its more of the fact that how they are treated to me. I can only speak personally. Plus i feel as a species we have evolved to the point where meat isnt necessary. 200 years ago i doubt there were many veggies :)
Also there is a the horrible way animals are treated.
Not imposing my views on you, just clarifying my position.
PLUS i never liked meat anyway bar the odd piece of chicken.

Well, when you don't eat meat, you do cut down alot of cholesterol (unless you eat too much dairy) and fat.
I'm pescetarian, which means I eat seafood but no other meat. I don't consider myself too annoying, as I'm not one of those vegetarians that tries to push it on people.

like meat-eaters right?
I hired someone to tie 'em all up and force feed them hamburgers and BBQ chicken for three consecutive days.
That sure took care of all my vegetarian problems.
No. I don't ask and if they mention it then it is just another trait.
Now random people on the other hand... There is a group at college who likes to make anyone who eats meat out as terrible. A simple 'I don't care if you think it is terrible, I don't lecture you on my views so show me the same courtesy' usually gets them to leave me alone.
I know a girl who reckons shes a vegan and has a go at anyone that eats meat yet she atleast once a week ges to Maccas for some Big macs,
But overall i dont know many vegetarians or vegans apart from her,
I don't know any vegetarians but i turned vegetarian for 4 months once, it was for health reasons. Every now and then i have a break from meat but not because i want to. I would eat big macs every day if it wasn't for my stupid stomach, meat just does not agree with me!
I know quite a few. One in particular is a Hindu guy from work. He's always trying to play the reverse psychology aspect of it though. He put his hand on my shoulder once and said "You are, at your core, a very sweet and innocent person. Eating meat when you know that animals have to die for it is just not you. You know that, don't you? DON'T YOU?"
So I told him if he put his hand on my shoulder again, I'd stone him to death.
Of course, I wouldn't. I'm too sweet and innocent for that.
I wouldn't associate with any vegetarians that felt the need to constantly brag about their eating habits or criticise my own. If you want to go against nature (humans are omnivores, and meat tastes delicious for a reason) and it makes you feel happy, more power to you, but don't expect me to follow you just because you've convinced yourself your unnatural eating habits put you in any kind of moral high ground.
My sister is a vegetarian... yet theres a lot of veggies she won't eat haha She eats eggs though... and cheese, isn't that against the rules? She claims she just can't handle the texture of meat, wtv.DJ-PRIME90Nah, that just makes her vegetarian, not vegan. Texture of meat seems a weird complaint given that it can vary so much by animal type, cut, and how it's prepared.
