Nope. They use to be unusually strict back then but now they're lenient. I say unusually because they would be strict on one thing but lenient on other which was confusing and stupid. Other than that, they're pretty bland and uninteresting.
The only cool thing about our family is that we had a rebel fighter during the Armenian Genocide (or at least I think we do).
My parents are strict about certain things, but not others. Like, if you don't have the kitchen clean when my mom gets home from work, prepare to die. Get a B? Grounded. On the other hand, though, I never had a curfew.
The fact that my dad told me what the song "Turning Japanese" means, and my mom telling me that "69" in Chinese is "twocanchew," shows that they are in fact "cool" lol.
My parents are awesome. Currently I am typing this from their house as I decided to come visit them this weekend. I usually visit my home town about once every two months and its always a pleasant stay.
My parents let me drink alcohol when i was in school and bought it for my mates, can't complain about being 15 and having all my booze bought for me and with permission. It was great, I almost feel upset that I can buy it myself now.
Yes and no....My mom was a big book wormish dork...but in a great way..got my love of books and edjumacation from her... .....My father was an abusive alcoholic assh*le.....can't win them all...
