Do you have second thoughts while posting/messaging?

Do you frequently find yourself typing out complete messages, whether on forums, e-mail, etc., and then for whatever reason, decide not to post the messages (maybe you thought the message or post was inappropriate, arbitrary, lame, or stupid)? I find myself doing this a lot on forums, where maybe 1/5 of all messages I type end up discarded, even if they are complete. I am still trying to gauge if this is normal, or if I am being overly cautious about what I write.

I sure do, and I'm relieved that I'm not the only one to do it. I do it when I'm in the process of posting about a topic I know little about. In a time like that, it's usually better for me to not say anything than to contribute. That's why I tend to avoid threads about politics and the Israel vs Palestine conflict, respectively.

Yeah. A chunk of my posts aren't posted in the end.

Yeah i do it from time to time. Just decide "eh... **** it" and decide not to post what i thought.

Usually because it's something that will get me banned or suspended because i'm using some insulting phrases about a person's apparent consistent character.

I just try now to avoid reading certain people's posts, just cause you know exactly what they're gonna say.

I don't even have a first thought.
