Do you have to know a lot of stuff from Accounting 1 to do good in Accounting 2?

Define "Accounting I" and "Accounting 2". Do you mean Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting? A lot of schools tend to structure these sorts of courses differently.

It does help, I took Accounting 1 and I'm currently in Accounting 2, and having all that knowledge from the year before has helped out.
