I recently started journal writing, and I was wondering how many of you keep a journal.

Yeah ok,i guess i see your point now, i apologize for my previous statement ;)
I tried for a while when I was a bit younger, but it drove me into a very deep depression so I got rid of it and never tried to make another attempt at it.
i dont, but for some reason when i feel like s*** i open a notepad file and type just how much i feel like s*** there... 8-Bitterness
You write in notepad others write in their journals, i kill hookers in GTA :D
I keep a journal of a lot of the films I watch. You can read it here on Gamespot! Would you like to?! biggest_loserYeah actually i would, love movies.

I have a house on Gamespot with a small picket fence.I keep a dream journalSeraphimGoddess
I used to keep a dream journal as well. I was fascinated with lucid dreaming when I was younger and it was suggested that was the best way to go about experiencing one. I'd wake up and write as quickly as I could before I forgot everything. In the beginning they were really abstract but that changed after a while.

Well, it hasn't really helped me in the field of lucid dreaming so far, not that that's the goal of me recording them, but still. :([QUOTE="Atmanix"][QUOTE="SeraphimGoddess"]I keep a dream journalSeraphimGoddess

Mostly it's to improve my memory of dreams so I could hopefully find out what a reoccurring nightmare/terror I've been having lately is about. Don't remember what happens, but I do recall it's the same one. Then I heard dream journals improve overall memory function related to that, so here I am with my book filled with half-asleep ramblings in chicken scratch. What's your goal? Or is it just for fun?

I sometimes keep a log of any strange or interesting dreams I've had. It's pretty interesting to go back and read them after awhile.
hey! I'm gay and I don't have a journal! :x I use a fluffy pink diary instead :PJournals are for homosexuals and/or political prisoners,so no,no i do not ;)

No but seriously, my life isn't interesting to write about. but i do write down a few of my opinions and rants.

Unfortunately not. It would be a nice excuse.[QUOTE="Atmanix"][QUOTE="XilePrincess"]I keep a blog. My handwriting looks like I'm mocking Michael J Fox, so I couldn't keep a hard copy journal.XilePrincess

Unfortunately not. It would be a nice excuse.I write with my left and I'd consider it a curse. Easy to identify my writing though I suppose.

I write with my left and I'd consider it a curse. Easy to identify my writing though I suppose.
I'm left handed too, I think its the world around us that makes it untidy, like folders, the ring binders are in the way.
Although i still rather be a lefty then a righty.
I used to keep something that slightly resembled a journal, but it was more for sketches and comics than just writing.

I just write from the back of the notebook to the front. I love being a lefty.

I use my right hand for throwing and such, left for writing and other things like eating. So I'm not full lefty :(
