I didnt' know how to make apple sauce, but other kinds I did. I would just throw in different vegetables and cut them up and such.

Why, yes. Sometimes I have some friends come and bring their fruit over and we all make sauce together. We usually just use our hands but we do break out the knives every now and then, just to make it easier. My dad taught me.
