I certainly do not. I thought I would at least have a vague idea by first year University....

I leave this weekend for the Air Force... that's 4 years planned out. After that, 4 years of college, and then ???
Honestly, not one damn bit. One day I think Nursing (currently studying), the nest I think Game Design ( already been to school for 2 years in the field)...but... I really don't want to necessarily do either. And yet I have no other bright ideas. HELP!!!
then its profit right :P but really in those 8 years something will come up and then your set for lifeI leave this weekend for the Air Force... that's 4 years planned out. After that, 4 years of college, and then ???

I know what I'd like to do with my life, but the chances of it happening are slim to none, so therefore I really have no clue what I'm really going to end up doing.

Still contemplating between business and nursing. The former will help me with learning to manage my own business in the future, but the latter will help me make more money to afford community college to learn business and have more money to start my own.I leave this weekend for the Air Force... that's 4 years planned out. I didn't sign up for a job, but instead a job aptitude area, so I could leave quicker. I'm under the skilled mechanics category. Trying to do something like aerospace propulsion, fuel systems, electronics systems, etc... I'm interested in fixing/maintaining air crafts.I'm pretty certain that my life-long goal is to become famous by creatin' either awesome manga or awesome video games. Out of those two, though, I'm not exactly sure yet. I'm leanin' towards video games, though, since you can incorporate music and sound into that, something manga doesn't really specialize in.:P
Everything i wanted to do has already passed its window of opportunity. For the immediate future im just trying to not go bankrupt while i finish my book.
Eventually i would like to get into medicine if writing does not work out. I have roughly enough knowledge to pass the exams now just from teaching myself. Its just doing the time so i can get it all on paper. :(

I have a friend who works for Boeing in their R&D dept and he makes ridiculous money and loves his job.Baby boomers ruined many things and chances for us, and somewhat true for generation x as well. Its harder for us to do well than for the generations before us.
I'm into science so something to do with that, maybe some kind of metalurgy, physics, electronics, and chemistry.
Become a Navy Seabee...serve overseas in the Philippines which whould rock and later move to Brisbane, Australia to start a Pizzeria bussiness with my Aussie cousin Jonathan. I love Pizza...mmm...pizza.
Physics, Engineering, or IT. Most likely IT, since I'm not sure if you can go far in Physics or Engineering with just a BS.
I've also considered music, but I don't have natural talent for it, and while I enjoy playing the guitar/piano, I don't want to force myself to train to the point where it's not fun for me anymore. Also I'm not creative.

Surely you are more ambitious than that?! Money is the main issue for me. Though thinking about it now, that's a poor, short sighted excuse. I already have a scholarship guaranteed that will cover tuition for four years, and may get a better one in the future. My parents have been saving money for my education since I was born, but I'm hoping that I won't have to take too much from that (they'll need money for retirement). So it's all pretty financially secure for me actually. And once I get a degree, I can start supporting myself while still furthering my education. I'll still keep my options open. Physics was my top choice, but IT is also interesting. I actually don't know much about Engineering, but people keep recommending it to me. It just comes to mind whenever people ask me what I want to do when I grow up. I'll look into it...
No idea whatsoever.
Six months ago I wanted to be a librarian and get into working at a university library, and perhaps go on to get a Masters in library science. Now, I still have a desire to work in a library, but not much desire to do anything with it as a career... only as a part-time position. Now, I'm thinking of going on after finishing my B.A. and getting a Masters and Doctorate and becoming a professor (most likely in Religion, focusing on Hinduism and related Asian religions/traditions). Though, I'm not interested in going through another 5-6 years of university right after doing 5 years to date.
I'll wait a little while, and get settled into something less academic for now and worry about that later. My interests are now in trucking. Day cab trucking around the city once I finish my B.A. It would be a total change and something not only completely un-academic (5 years of university in a row is a lot of academia) but something I've been interested in since I was a kid, just never seriously considered until now. Admittedly, it was the show Ice Road Truckers that got me interested in trucking. But I don't have any desire (at the moment) to go up to the North West Territories and OTR for two months and risk dropping into 285 foot-deep lakes. Though, making a year's wages in 8-10 weeks is pretty damn lucrative... but there is no way I could be without my girlfriend for a few days, let alone 2 months.
