Do You Like Dragonforce?

I saw them live about 1 years back and they was crazy man! I think their lead guitarist is called Herman Lee and hes meant to be one of the best in the world.

Actually, he thinks he's one of the best in the world, but he's just a guitarist that can play fast. I use to love them, but now I see them as a bunch of ego-maniacs. If you want guitar that is fast and can actually be played well live, then try Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and other very talented guys. I lost a lot of intesest in Dragonforce when I saw them doing a video lesson, and it was just terrible.

After seeing about a minute of this video, I can saftely say I hate Dragonforce :|

Best in the world?

Herman Li is the most overrated guitarist of all time. He can't even play his own licks live.

 I think they are fun for some reason, I honestly can't stand Speed/Power Metal(Except for Axel Rudi Pell). 

I tried them for awhile but then after awhile it started to sound the same so I stopped listening to them-PureDemon-

Did you ever listen to their debut album? Out of the three, that's got the most variation on it.

I like them, I listen to them occasionally if Sonata Arctica and TYR bore me to death which they rarely do.

Ah right, I get you.  :P  I guess it does follow somewhat of a formular, but so do a lot of songs.

I guess that's what I like about Sonata Arctica, they limit their solos to about 30 seconds to a minute maybe less depending on the song.  Wrecking the Sphere has about a 45 second solo, while Don't Say a Word has about, I wanna say 30 seconds, but I think I'm wrong.

One of the main reasons I really like DragonForce is actually because of the vocalist. To me, his singing is amazing.  :oops:
