I've been there three times as my mum came from there and her family live there. It's pretty nice but yeh there are a lot of beggers which is kinda annoying. They live in Meerut but I've been all over to jalinder and the taj mahal etc.
Never been there, but I have met people who came from there and they were are cool. On top of that the only negative thing with India I can think of at the moment s their feuding with Pakistan, so I must say I have no reason NOT to like India.

its all because of the BRITISH (no offense). they partitioned India while leaving and gave Pakistan less area. and it is pakistan (no offense) who starts the war by sending in infiltrators for they want kashmir. its not India. india tries to maintain good relationships with all like she kept with british after independence!

I have Indian friends, but come on that's a bit over the top, don't forget the atrocities the Indian army commit in Kashmir.
YES, I like India very much. But I think the people there are quite poor. Only some are extremely rich. johnchan3
There are plenty poor people everywhere. Hell, here in Michigan we have an unemployment rate of 8%! That means that pretty much 1 out of every 10 people you come across while walking around don't have a job!!!
Never been there but to be honest I wouldn't want to until they make it a bit cleaner. My friend who is indian went there on holiday and with 2 days he was sick as hell.
Every time I have to place a Customer Service/Help Desk/Sales Call and I get a call center in India and I stuggle to understand what the person is saying...it makes me hate India just a little more...
